Cosworth's goal when designing a high flow air intake system was to ensure an efficient system with minimal effects caused from heat soak. The air intake system features a conically shaped, larger diameter inlet tube that forces air through the system smoothly and efficiently. Surrounding the inlet with a heat shield isolates the system from the heat from the engine finishing off a system proven to unlock power and torque that was hidden by the OE system.
Cosworth's Intake System is constructed of a lightweight aluminum with a mandrel shape and a reusable air filter made of blue cotton gauze and a dry carbon composite embossed end cap. Finished off with a clean powder coat and the Cosworth badge showing that perfection is the only option for your high performance engine.
